My Name is Beth Obermark

How did I get here?

I started photography in 2014 using my light blue iPhone 5C taking photos of nature (classic). From there, I decided to explore nature photography using my Dad's old Nikon camera. Before I knew it, I was forcing my friends to partake in photoshoots and the rest is history. I have been a portrait photographer for almost 7 years now and have enjoyed every challenging, yet rewarding aspect of it. My favorite part about being a photographer is getting to meet SO many amazing people and getting to connect with my community in such unique ways.

What do you need to know about me?

Here are the quick need-to-know facts about me:

1. I am a full-time speech-language pathologist (SLP) working with elementary and preschool age kiddos

2. I am engaged to my high school sweetheart and we are getting married in August of 2025

3. I have two french bulldogs named Pip and Perrie

4. I am a BIG St. Louis Cardinals fan

5. I played softball competitively for almost 10 years and that is definitely when I peaked

6. I would DIE for a good slice of cheesecake and a bouquet of flowers

8. I will break out into any song of the Wicked soundtrack at the drop of a hat

9. I went to Missouri State for my undergraduate degree #gobears

10. I have pet chickens and I love them dearly
